This was one determined bride! Ain’t no Covid19 going to rain on her wedding day! Ayesha and Shannon held off getting married, waiting for number restrictions to lift and they made it all the way to their dream wedding day! Hooray! The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort was amazingly flexible and let them move their date a few times. We finally found a summer date that would work for everyone and I got the privilege to join the party! There were so many well thought out details in the smallest parts of this wedding Any bride could take inspiration from the card cage to the Pettigrew name everywhere! A few cheeky signs to giggle at here and there and what a fun bunch of party people.
I always have a tear up when bride’s do a daddy daughter first look. This first look was twice as special as the bride got to be that ‘mummy princess’ to her lovely little daughter!
Follow the signs to a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the woods.
Despite the smoke rolling in on us, we got some amazing portraits and the party bus took the bridal party on their tour to see to the sites of Banff.
Onward to the celebrations with family and friends! So awesome to be the first real reception I’ve photographed in what seems like years. So much joy, stories, tears and most of all … dancing!
Congratulations to Ashley … oh I mean Ayesha … and Shannon! Here’s to a lifetime of jokes and laughing!
PS: Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is worth booking just for the food! It was prompt, hot and SOOOOOO delicious. Best buffet I’ve had in years!
