There is a hidden gem in Calgary and it’s right downtown. No doubt if you live in Alberta you’ve been to the Calgary Stampede grounds at least once and little did you know that if you just keep driving a little bit further down the road you stumble upon the Rundle Ruins. These amazing sandstone blocks are what remains of the old general hospital.
It makes for a fabulous old world background for photography in the area and when you are blessed with a beautiful spring sunset like this, it makes for one romantic portrait location.
Or was it actually the very in love couple I got to photograph that day! Morgan and Christian sought me out after booking their wedding at the amazing Water Valley Church Events Centre, of which I’ve been blessed to visit before. It is one of the favourite venues and now it is one of my couples’ too!
And these two were a little nervous going into their session but what professional models came out the other side. Morgan, that smile is to die for at any angle! I bet they will be ready for some advanced posing on their wedding day now! And yes Christian you do have a ‘side’… it’s all because of that adorable dimple! More romance to come in September 2021 for these two!
